James Earl Fraser designed the beautiful Mercury Dime that was struck 1916 to 1945. Often referred to as the Winged Liberty Head Dime, the 100th Anniversary was celebrated in 2016 by striking the same design in pure 24k Gold. The Centennial Gold Dime was highly anticipated by a good number of collectors that the Mint set the item to unavailable after just 45 minutes of online and phone sales. This option is the 2016 W 24k Gold Centennial Mercury Dime certified by PCGS in flawless SP70 First Day of Issue. This label has also been hand signed by John Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the US Mint.
