The American Silver Eagle has become far and away the most collected modern silver coin in the World! This set features Silver Eagles from the frist and second years of issue - 1986 and 1987. Each Silver Eagle is struck from 1oz of .999 fine silver.
The obverse design features a modern rendition of Adolph A. Weinman's classic Lady Liberty and the reverse features the classic Type 1 heraldic eagle with a shield designed by John Mercanti.
These $1 Silver Eagles were graded as MS69 by NGC. They both feature a label signed by the 12th Chief Engraver John Mercanti.
