This silver dollar was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the United Service Organization. The USO is a nonprofit, non government supported organization that was founded in 1941 to provide morale and entertainment for members of the U.S. military.
The obverse, designed by Robert Lamb, shows a USO pennant flag. The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, shows an eagle perched on a globe with a ribbon in its beak.
This coin was minted in Denver and was graded as MS70 by NGC.
