The 1792-2017 American Liberty Silver 4-Medal Set was struck in comemoration of the 225th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Mint.
The obverse of each medal is a modern vision of Liberty intended to capture the identity of a multinational America, depicted as an African-American woman wearing a star crown based on the star crown from the State of Freedom that tops the US Capitol Building.
The reverse of each medal features the American bald eagle in flight and includes a mint mark — one each for Denver, Philadelphia, San Francisco and West Point.
This NGC graded four medal set features the U.S. Mint 225th Anniversary label and includes:
