2019 W $50 Burnished Gold Eagle PCGS SP70 First Strike First Day of Issue Black Shield Label

Out of stock

The U.S. Mint began striking uncirculated—or burnished—silver and gold for collectors. Since then, the burnished Gold Eagle has consistently been the lowest mintage subset of the worlds most popular gold coin. Struck from a specially prepared 22-karat gold blank that gives each coin a smooth, matte-like surface with incredibly crisp detail.

The First Strike First Day of Issue Black Sheild label has become a popular label among avid collectors. This designation represents that the coin was issued to the grading company within the first 30 days of its release from the United States Mint. First day of issue labels are achieved through the PCGS Bulk Submissions program for Presidential Dollar coins postmarked on their release date.
