The obverse design of the coin is the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This is the fourth-generation effigy of the Queen from British coins and was used as the fifth-generation effigy on Australian and Commonwealth denominations. The reverse design of the coin bears the image of the 007 gun logo. This logo commonly appears at the opening sequence of every Bond film ever made.
