The original Morgan silver dollar was issued between 1878-1904 and briefly in 1921. It's one of the most popular American coins to collect. For the 100th Anniversary of its last year of issue, the Morgan Dollar was re-issued in 2021!
The obverse (heads) side of the coin features Lady Liberty in profile, facing left. There are 13 stars along the sides and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is inscribed at the bottom. The year 2021 is at the bottom.
The reverse (tails) side features a bald eagle with its wings spread. The eagle is holding a branch in its left talons and a bunch of arrows in its right talons. Around the edge are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR”. The words “IN GOD WE TRUST” are inscribed above the eagle.
