The original Peace Dollar was minted in 1921 to celebrate the end of WWI. To commemorate its 100th Anniversary, it was reissued in 2021!
The obverse (heads) side of the coin features a young Lady Liberty in profile, facing left, wearing a crown of rays. The word "LIBERTY" in inscribed above her head and "IN GOD WE TRUST" is on both her left and right side. The year 2021 is at the bottom.
The reverse (tails) side features a bald eagle standing on a rock, holding a branch. At the top of the coin, the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are inscribed. The word "PEACE" is at the bottom. The word "ONE" is on the left on the word "DOLLAR" is on the right.
