The Type-2 design of the Silver American Eagle program continues with the second year release of the new 2022 San Francisco struck Proof Silver Eagle featuring an S mint mark. When compared to the 2022 West Point Proof mintage figure of just over 630,000, the San Francisco issue is a fraction of that number at just 200,000 units.
