Each Burnished Silver Eagle is struck from 1oz of .999 fine silver. The obverse design features a modern rendition of Adolph A. Weinman's classic Lady Liberty and the reverse features a heraldic eagle with a shield. The new Type 2 reverse was designed by Canadian designer, Emily Damstra.
This 2022 $1 Burnished Silver Eagle has been certified SP70 First Day of Issue by PCGS! Each planchet is blasted high tiny beads to give the surface a collector finish, slightly different from the bullion issue. This coin bears a W mint mark.
