The Morgan Dollar is frequently cited as the most popular coin series within American numismatics. First struck in 1878, it was designed by George T. Morgan following the passage of the Bland-Allison Act, which revived silver dollar production in the United States. Coin Design
The Peace Dollar, introduced in 1921, was designed by Anthony de Francisci to celebrate the end of World War I and symbolize America's hope for peace. The coin's creation marked a transition from war to peace, with Liberty's profile reflecting optimism and renewal. The series ended in 1935 but was revived in 2021 by the 1921 Silver Dollar Coin Anniversary Act to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the coin's first minting. In 2023, the first-ever Reverse Proof Peace Dollar was introduced alongside the Morgan Dollar.
