The 2025 (P) Eagle Privy Silver Eagle is the second-ever Mint State Silver Eagle to feature a privy mark. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint and limited to just 500,000 coins, it builds on the success of the 2024 Star Privy release and continues a bold new chapter in the world's most collected silver bullion series.
Obverse – Adolph A. Weinman's timeless Walking Liberty design, symbolizing freedom and progress, featuring a special eagle privy mark, struck exclusively for this issue.
Reverse – Emily Damstra's majestic Bald Eagle, clutching an oak branch in its talons—an enduring symbol of strength—sculpted by Michael Gaudioso.
Appearing just above "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the obverse, the eagle privy marks only the second time a Mint State Silver Eagle has featured a privy mark. This eagle-in-flight privy follows the 2024 (P) Star Privy Silver Eagle as part of an exclusive collaboration between Nice Gang and the U.S. Mint.
While typical bullion Silver Eagle mintages can soar into the tens of millions, the Eagle Privy Silver Eagle matches the Star Privy release as the lowest-minted bullion Silver Eagle with just 500,000 coins minted.
Each coin comes slabbed with an exclusive NGC Eighth Era Gold label, hand-signed by Mark Salzberg. As former NGC chairman and co-founder of Nice Gang, Salzberg is a pioneer in modern numismatics and one of the most influential figures in the industry. Working directly with the U.S. Mint, he is primarily responsible for bringing this release to life.
This coin marks the second release in a groundbreaking collaboration between the U.S. Mint and Nice Gang, the developer of the Eighth Era mobile game. Nice Gang co-founder Mark Salzberg worked directly with the Mint to bring this project to life, aiming to bridge the gap between numismatics and gaming. As the first AAA mobile game to feature real-world collectibles as rewards, Eighth Era seeks to introduce a new generation to the world of coin collecting.
Introduced in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act, the American Silver Eagle is the official bullion silver coin of the United States and the most collected silver bullion coin in the world. The original design featured a rendition of Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty on the obverse with John Mercant'i's Heraldic Eagle on the reverse. In 2021, the series underwent a major redesign, introducing an enhanced obverse with added security features and a new reverse designed by Emily Damstra and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. Admired by collectors worldwide, the American Silver Eagle remains a cornerstone in American numismatics.
