This proof silver coin was one of sixteen coins issued to commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia. The other coins were silver dollars, clad half dollars, and $5 gold coins.
The obverse, designed by John Mercanti, shows three cyclists with the USA Olympic logo to the side. The reverse, designed by William Krawczewicz, shows two clasped hands under an Olympic torch.
This coin was minted in Philadelphia and was graded as PF70 Ultra Cameo by NGC.
