In 2005, the U.S. Mint struck a very low mintage of just 72,015 $10 mint state bullion gold eagles. It represents one of the lowest mintages among all quarter ounce mint state gold eagles back to 1986. This piece has been hand signed by Miley Frost (Busiek), the designer of the reverse of the coin. NGC recently signed Miley Frost to their impressive list of signers and CoinAdvisor has the exclusive on their U.S Mint Engraver Series labels.
Enjoy a great price on this rarity, as only a couple dozen have been hand signed by Miley Frost as of January 2023. The 2005 $10 1/4 oz is an overall population of only 2,218 in perfect MS70. With millions of collectors in our marketplace, there are simply not enough of this coin to go around, let alone with the hand signature of Miley Frost (Busiek).
