This pure .999 silver stamp was licensed by the USPS and made in the USA.
In 1969, the Apollo 11 mission made history by landing on the moon. Shortly after that, a postage stamp was issued to commemorate the event. It showed the moment when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface with the Earth in the background.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of this remarkable achievement, the USPS has recreated that stamp in a silver ingot. It comes in a beautiful display case.
