First issued in 2017, the Palladium Eagle has quickly become a favorite among U.S. Mint collectors. Each Palladium Eagle weighs 1 ounce and is struck from .9995 fine Palladium. The coin's obverse is adapted from Adolph A. Weinman's Winged Liberty Head and the reverse bear's Weinman's 1906 eagle design for the American Institute of Architects' gold medal.
