Introducing the groundbreaking 2024 G. Britain £2 1oz Proof Silver Britannia & Liberty Coin! This first-of-its-kind design marks the historic collaboration between the Chief Engravers of the two largest mints in the world—the United States Mint and the Royal Mint. Despite appearing on coins of their respective nations for years, Lady Liberty and Britannia have never appeared alongside each other until now. Joseph Menna and Gordon Summers joined forces to craft a stunning design recognizing the long relationship between the United States and Great Britain. 

The obverse depicts the stoic portraits of Lady Liberty and Britannia, featuring complementary and balancing elements similar to a playing card. Liberty, adorned with stars, carries a torch, while Britannia, wearing a Corinthian helmet, wields a trident. The reverse features the effigy of King Charles III, depicting a realistic and dignified portrait of the king. 

The 2024 G. Britain £2 Proof Silver Britannia & Liberty Coin is struck from 1oz of .999 fine silver in proof finish, with a mintage of 12,300. Each coin is graded by NGC as a perfect-strike PF70 Ultra Cameo and certified as First Day of Issue. In addition, each coin comes slabbed with an NGC Royal Mint The Original Maker label, hand-signed by Gordon Summers—Chief Engraver of the Royal Mint. Each coin also comes with its Original Government Packaging.
