The 2025 American Silver Eagle with Eagle Privy Mark is a groundbreaking release, marking the second time in the coin's 38-year history that a Mint State Silver Eagle has featured a privy mark. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, it stands out with a low mintage of only 500,000 coins, making it tied as the lowest-minted bullion Silver Eagle ever produced! This coin has been graded by NGC in stunning MS70 condition in Early Releases pedigree.

Coin Design

  • Obverse - The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design, symbolizing freedom and progress. Lady Liberty strides toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag and holding branches of laurel and oak. Weinman's initials "AW" can be found near Liberty's heal, below the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST." "LIBERTY" and the date of issuance are also inscribed on the obverse.
  • Reverse - The reverse, designed by AIP Designer Emily Damstra and sculpted by Medallic Artist Michael Gaudioso, features a majestic Bald Eagle in flight, clutching an oak branch in its talons. This powerful design represents strength, endurance, and freedom. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR."

Lowest-minted Bullion Silver Eagle

While typical bullion Silver Eagle mintages can soar into the tens of millions, this 2025 Eagle Privy Mark Silver Eagle has an extraordinarily low mintage of just 500,000 coins. This release ties the record for the lowest-minted bullion Silver Eagle and the lowest-minted Type-2 Silver Eagle ever produced!

American Silver Eagle Series

Introduced in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act, the American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States and the most collected silver coin in the world. Originally designed by John Mercanti and featuring Adolph A. Weinman's "Walking Liberty," the series symbolizes American craftsmanship and liberty. In 2021, the series underwent a major redesign. It featured an enhanced version of Weinman's design and a new reverse designed by Emily Damstra and sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. This redesign also added advanced security features, ensuring the coin's lasting appeal and integrity for collectors worldwide.
