Coin Design

  • Obverse - The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design, symbolizing freedom and progress. Lady Liberty strides toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag and holding branches of laurel and oak. Weinman's initials "AW" can be found near Liberty's heal, below the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST." "LIBERTY" and the date of issuance are also inscribed on the obverse.
  • Reverse - The reverse, designed by AIP Designer Emily Damstra and sculpted by Medallic Artist Michael Gaudioso, features a majestic Bald Eagle in flight, clutching an oak branch in its talons. This powerful design represents strength, endurance, and freedom. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR."

Emily Damstra Signature

Each coin comes slabbed with PCGS's Emily Damstra Master Designer Flag label, hand-signed by Emily Damstra—the Type 2 American Silver Eagle reverse designer.

As a dual citizen of the United States and Canada, Damstra has made notable contributions to both the U.S. Mint and the Royal Canadian Mint. Her work is celebrated around worldwide, and she is one of the most sought-after numismatic artists.

First Day of Issue

Certified by PCGS as First Day of Issue and slabbed with PCGS's exclusive Emily Damstra Master Designer Flag label, each coin is graded PR70DCAM, guaranteeing its flawless condition.

Proof Cameo Finish

Each coin is struck in a brilliant proof cameo finish—the U.S. Mint's finest finish. This elegant finish enhances the coin’s beauty with its frosted details contrasted against mirror-like fields.

American Silver Eagle Series

Introduced in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act, the American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States and the most collected silver coin in the world. Originally designed by John Mercanti and featuring Adolph A. Weinman's "Walking Liberty," the series symbolizes American craftsmanship and liberty. In 2021, the series underwent a major redesign, featuring an enhanced obverse and a new reverse design. This redesign also added advanced security features, ensuring the coin's integrity for collectors worldwide.
