Struck in .999 fine silver with a limited worldwide mintage of just 3,500 pieces, this release is one of the few major international commemoratives issued to mark America's 250th anniversary.

Declaration of Independence Design

• Obverse — Features the official effigy of King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings.
• Reverse — Designed by Royal Mint Chief Engraver Gordon Summers, an American bald eagle and quill pen symbolizing the birth of a nation and the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The eagle’s talons remain intertwined with a rope, representing the connection between Great Britain and the United States even after independence was declared.

Incused Bold Relief

Combining two opposing striking techniques on one side, the 2026 G. Britain Declaration of Independence is the first of its kind. The reverse’s right half is struck with a raised relief, while the left half is incused below the surface, creating a dramatic contrast never seen before.
